Inspection Process

The Unixgate Inspection Process is a streamlined, technology-driven workflow that ensures secure and efficient customs clearance. It begins with the shipping company sending documents to a broker, who files the customs declaration. Once processed and approved by the Automated Customs System, the broker requests release or transit of goods. Upon arrival or border crossing, goods are scanned using high-resolution equipment, and the images are analyzed by customs officers to detect any risks. Based on the analysis, goods are classified as suspect or non-suspect — with suspect cargo undergoing further inspection. If in transit, a security seal is applied to ensure cargo integrity. The I3G system connects all stages, enabling real-time data management and communication. This process enhances border security while facilitating smooth trade flow.
